The Bloody Apple Tinted with Lust - Chapter 37 - Cryptid_Pet (2024)

Chapter Text

The news became rather shocking to hear, at least to say the least. Karlheinz was killed. It seems simply loyalty and trust that night of his ball took power, taken advantage of. The smell of horror reeked like perfume as the word spread from tribe to tribe. Even those who opposed Karlheinz were triggered. As the strong urge of sanity becomes black mist, it slowly fades away. The bitter taste of chaos emerges when treaties amongst tribes would be broken into raging fires of war. The pain and soreness the vampire tribe suffers as its alliance with Vibora's leader, Zweig, was unbearable. Suicide left and right. There's no control. And it was this very moment where Carla hears about the discovery and says: “Finally, Shin did his job” muttered under his breath.
The window towards success was opened just a tad more. The powerful lord of the future mysterious clan would be known once everyone was at the Founder's mercy. Overall, Carla grew restless the moment he found out about Shin's betrayal, despite crediting him recently. Many holes had to be patched up now, many tasks and objectives to be completed. However, the importone of all was getting Yui. That still failed to happen. Last resort possible would be invading the Mukami manor at the surface for a second time. It's a good idea, only if someone was there. It was always a hassle, a drag: To make sure a structured plan was formulated to stay on its course. Scanning the gray clouds that milked dry of its storm, Carla could already see stars align from the Goddess of Chaos itself. But the question that was asked by everyone in the Demon World never circled back to Carla. How did Karlheinz die? Was it really Shin, or someone else? What’s the motive? At this point, nobody could be tamed. If you tried calling Karlheinz himself, he wouldn't come. Nothing works, a prayer is just a drag.
Every man for themselves. Amongst twenty four hours of the news, it was hard to keep track of how many acts of theft, rape, and murder had occured. No powerhouse. The worst part is that there’s no Adam and Eve. Without power, there’s no control. There isn’t a foundation without Adam’s guidance.

“How many days till the lunar eclipse?” Asked Carla to a ghoul in his presence.

“Approximately seventy two hours.” The ghoul replied.

Good, the time was near. Just three days and Carla will have order. Aware that Shin failed, it’s unknown what Carla might do to him when in his eyesight. That’s shrouded in mystery. At this rate, tribes were forgetting the meaning of peace amongst their contracts, attacking with fatal blows each time war breaks out. To think there were some people trying to stop the madness: Please?

Azusa moans at the same full feeling making his body hot as the cold wooden floor counters that. He pants and lets Shin pull his hips back for further penetration. Based on how old the building is, the creaking of the planks under the two make it difficult to tell if they're at fault, or if the constant pace of thrusting was.
Shin bit his lip as a sign to hold back, the quenching from the other’s rimmed entrance tightening more and more. He didn’t mean to give in after the brief talk hours ago, but this is a sex demon Shin’s dealing with. It’s addicting. Azusa yelps and arches his back with a smack to his rear, a yank then to his tail. More than dust was going to end on the floor.
With the crest bruning the abdomen, Shin’s dirty release eruptly into Azusa makes the male cry sultry, trembling. The groans and pants fill the room and empty out slowly. To think being taken from behind was far different from a plain missionary perspective. As Shin pulls out, he massages Azusa’s rear where he instinctively slapped during his climax, letting his throbbing erection die down. It’s only a few seconds before Azusa finds the strength to roll himself over to snuggle against Shin who sat beside him.

“T-That was good…” Shin commented, catching his breath.

Azusa cooed with rosy cheeks, resting his head at Shin’s leg, “It was…I e-enjoyed it…”

“f*ck,” Shin rubbed his face, taking a glance out the cracked, filthy window nearby, “sh*t is going down out there, and we’re here ready to f*ck like rabbits.”

“Hmmm…?”

Azusa simply lifted his head up to peer also through the window. Judging by the distance shouting, smoke, and booms more intense than fireworks, Eden was falling apart.

He makes a noise, “...Is everyone going to be okay…?” Azusa questioned.

Shin groans, “Don’t know or care.”

“Why don’t you care…?”

“Why should I? People already fear me and that’s enough for me.”

True, not surprising there.

“I don’t fear you…” Azusa softened, “At least…Not anymore…”

“Which I don’t get,” Shin said sarcastically, fixing himself and his lower clothing, “We gotta get a move on to Nii-San, I know where he kept your brother.”

“Then…What happens afterwards…?”

Shin hesitates, which still is a sight to see. He didn’t get that far in his plan. Show off.

“We’ll improvise with our surroundings at that point!” Shin exclaimed, flashing a confident grin.

There’s a pause of silence, only the crickets seem to be cheering for the founder.

Azusa, laughing warmly, slowly sits up to adjust himself. “Should we start moving again…? The…Rain stopped…And passed over…”

“sh*t, you really just want to get your brother, huh?”

“I miss him…Deeply…”

Shin can’t really blame Azusa, he was the one who took him from his siblings. He finds his own courage to get up and eventually change into his wolf form to make the travel quicker as before.

When stepping outside, the smell of wet grass fills the air.; it’s refreshing. The message was sent for Azusa as he got on Shin’s fluffy back side, earning another ride that doesn’t charge him. Right away, they two are flying through the path taken earlier, this time praying not to make another stop due to natural reasons. Destruction has already occurred to some parts of the forest, right at the border between Alder and Vibora. Though many of their members have been killed, there's still fragments of their power clashing against another- Power that used to be pure and fused as one. Azusa still was pretty confused with what had happened, so was Shin. even when the word spreads, it doesn't reach everyone moments after. Normally, if a pandemic were to break out, then it would be the main reason for this disaster. Destruction wouldn't pass, giving millions of deaths. The world that was once beautiful with many features, was impacted by Karlheinz's mysterious passing.
The tribe's people physically and mentally have been cursed. Everyone was facing the consequences of their insanity through death. Even if a human were to catch an eyeful of their pain, they'd look away with blindness. It's good, however, for Shin. These people are in great danger, suffering- Whereas all the founders extinct finished that agony. Karma reached the deepest parts of the waters. As they pass by to see bodies of both tribes and wildlife, the stench of blood makes Shin cringe. It's too much even for him after a while of sneering to himself about it. Their god is dead, nobody from the four clans were granted his role and powers. There needs to be power to create a new world- A different reality from now. Nobody will be freed.

Azusa sighs unsteadily at the horrors around him. He wants Ruki, wanting to ask for answers he might know. Will Ruki even know about Karlheinz being dead?

“What’s happening…? Azusa wondered aloud.

Shin grunts, letting the breezy wind flow through his fur, “I dunno, we’ll find out once we get to the manor.”

The sky has mist surrounding the tall trees covering the destroyed forest. The distant hollering and clomping hooves from soldiers from all clans fail to keep their lives. But no, nothing never comes striking these two down. They're still surprised and confused. Was this really all over the letter Karlheinz sent out weeks ago?
Running around, puddle after puddle, tShin and Azusa finally reach their destination. Slowing to a stop, Azusa gets off Shin as he begins changing out of his wolf form. The sky was completely dark, but the opening of the unknown allowed the moonlight to be the light source. Shin walks around the back of the massive manor to avoid being caught by Carla's Familiars, and was unaware he instinctively took hold of Azusa's hand. Whatever his plan was, it must work. He's not a fool, surely at this point. He was truly going to be more rebellious, and all for a half-breed vampire?
Shin was forced to be ready. He remembers how Carla would scold him when they were younger, such memories made him grow more proud. Shin knows the route to get to the dungeon without being seen by anyone, taking that route simply. Azusa shivers and sniffles as the cold gets to him quickly.

“Stay here.” Shin muttered.

The second Shin let go of Azusa’s hand, the coldness spread even quicker.

“But…” Azusa hesitates, “Why…Can’t I…Come…?”

“I need you to cover me, that’s why,” Shin pointed to the bushes in the distance. “It ain’t too far from the manor, so if you see someone coming, you can just run inside.”

“Is it unlocked…?”

“It’ll be when I go in.”

“Okay…” Azusa nods, “...But…Why must I stay outside…?”

“Do you WANT to get caught by Nii-San?”

“No…”

“Exactly,” Shin sighed, coming over to rub Azusa’s head lovingly. “I promise I’ll be maybe an hour, I gotta seriously use my brain this time.”

Azusa softens. He knows for sure Shin cares, reassuring his own safety with small gestures like headpats. The comfort is loving, like immediately nurturing a small child, lighting the unlit candle. He shot his head to gaze at Shin, who also starred back.

“...Are you going to be…Okay…?” Azusa whispered, bringing his face closer.

Meeting halfway, Shin leans in too, “I’m the First Blood, I’ll be more than okay.”

Azusa couldn’t help but smile, pecking Shin once before backing away.

“Go…” He said, “And…Don’t push yourself…If you can’t get Ruki now…We’ll…Try again…”

Shin snorts, taking it lightly. He does peck Azusa back one last time before leaving. Being in the center of attention for the past couple months was nice, flowing like slow music. Azusa watched Shin go until that large door closed behind him. He wished in that moment Shin would even pull him closer then he possibly could, grasping tight around his hips.
A sigh slips through Azusa’s parted lips as he stands there like an idiot, rubbing a horn. He needs to think about himself now that he’s alone. As he hid himself in the bushes to play low, the thought of running home to Yuma and Kou never entered his mind. HAzusa never goes against an order, he never understood why people do such a thing. He just simply understands the full purpose of listening, obeying. The way he admires the fearless walk Shin has entered the danger zone makes him want to change his way of obeying. Freedom isn't locked up.
That would be nice, but that dream can be held off for later. Azusa yawned and hugged his knees to his chest to get some warmth, now playing the waiting game. As he slowly relaxed down, there was relief in his body that slowly made him become drowsy. Time ticked and silently listening to the wind cries, it now was hard to say that Azusa hiding was longer in use. He wakes up after a while, but couldn't even recognize the faces of those standing before him. Two, perhaps three tall figures cast a shadow of him, the bushes pulled back to show his entire self.

“Who is that?”

“What is that?”

The comments came with grins and chuckles, bone chilling ones. How will Azusa react once fully waking up? He can't see with the small particles of dirt being picked up from the wind and constant rubbing of his eyes after some yawns. Maybe it’s Kou, Yuma, and Yui? No, they’re too tall, buff and muscular looking too. When Azusa’s vision is restored, his eyes widen slightly with a head tilt. Who are these men?

“You think Lord Zweig will be interested in this creature?” One man spat, snorting disgustingly.

A different one shrugs, “It ain’t a female though, how will he become Adam?”

“Beats me”

The third, and deepest voice out of the trio, chimes in. “Let’s take him for ourselves, right here.”

There was a faint ringing in Azusa’s ear. Something was off with him physically, as if he was drugged. He tried standing but only plopped back down on his side. He’s weak. He's about to black out, his vision slipping like his consciousness. Azusa couldn't help but look at the large door Shin went through. Not seeing Shin still was scary, making him nervous.
Ever closer to Azusa's body, someone gets over him. Something hard yet soft gets pressed at his butt. He can't really move despite small wiggles and hip movement. He goes limp, eyes closed, hands useless. It's not enough for these fellas who did this to him in his sleep.
Sleep, sleep, how can he sleep? He's caught in these mysterious strings and suffocating. He faintly hears a grunt against the crook of his neck, half sleep, half awake, maybe half alive at this point.

He's not here.
