Audible Sound Experience
Take a ride on a larger-than-life Ferris wheel and chow down on corn dogs, cotton candy, and popsicles at this spirited downtown carnival. On Friday night, Audible will also feature a DJ set from The Knocks during its After Dark party from 8 to 10 p.m.

Fallout @ SXSW
See if you have what it takes to survive as Prime Video turns Hotel San José into a post-apocalyptic world in anticipation of its upcoming show, Fallout. Explore the wasteland shantytown of Filly and search the area for its most precious commodity—bottle caps—which you’ll be able to use for trade.

Power of Comedy Awards

Hook ’Em House
From a lively parade and an International Women’s Day celebration with Kendra Scott and Tiff’s Treats founder Tiffany Chen, to rowdy performances by Austin’s own Ghostland Observatory and Dayglow, this pop-up is a must-visit space for the Longhorn faithful.

Austin Monthly Presents: Women That Rock
Don’t miss more than 20 incredible female and non-binary acts such as Hinds, Tameca Jones, Bad Bad Hats, and Wilt at this spirited showcase. In addition to all the music, enjoy a heart-pounding wellness class and expect plenty of surprises at this fourth annual gathering of women celebrating women. The free event is open for all ages until 8 p.m., then it’s 21 and up.

Favorite Pizza Party
Hungry? Head to West Sixth to enjoy some delicious pies from legendary pizza maker Anthony Falco (formerly of Roberta’s in Brooklyn, the author of Pizza Czar, and a Westlake High alum). The chef will create a Sicilian-inspired menu including several specialty pizzas and a muffuletta sandwich, and the party will feature a carnival-like outdoor space plus live DJs, pop-up bars, flash tattoos, and games.

FLOODFest
Be sure to wear your dancing shoes to this midday banger as Flood Magazine hosts a much-anticipated DJ set from Chromeo, plus performances by Hinds, Kneecap, Estevie, and more.

Spaceflight Records at Central Machine Works
Jam out at this three-day festival featuring Austin bands like Kalu and the Electric Joint, S.L. Houser, Golden Dawn Arkestra, and Billy King and the Bad Bad Bad. The event will also include visual artists and a vintage market, plus the debut of Spaceflight’s new Japanese-inspired rice lager.

Spurs Games
Don your finest black-and-silver apparel and yell “Go Spurs Go!” as our NBA neighbors to the south head up I-35 to compete at Moody Center again. The squad will play the Denver Nuggets on March 15 and the Brooklyn Nets on March 17. (Remember to bring a clear bag.)
