Reflecting on current news reporting, I am deeply unsettled by the real-time broadcasting of war and conflict videos, complete with maps and intricate details. While staying informed is vital, there's a fine line between reporting and inadvertently transforming tragedies into movie-like spectacles. It's crucial to remember that behind each clip and statistic are real lives and genuine suffering. We should aim to be compassionate observers, not passive spectators to others' pain.
