Cannibal! The Musical | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Kim Newman Empire Magazine It has its longeurs but there's an air of genial enthusiasm, tempered by sick humour, that is surprisingly engaging. Rated: 3/5 Oct 8, 2018 Full Review Cannibal! The Musical | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Anita Gates New York Times It's all pretty stupid, but at times, there are refreshingly ludicrous notes that even people old enough to see this movie without a guardian can appreciate. The Musical | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Germain Lussier io9.com What's also undeniable about the film is its charm. Everyone involved is so game to try things and so earnest with their performances. There's a sincerity to it. A warmness. Dec 7, 2020 Full Review Cannibal! The Musical | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Alex Castle IGN Movies As a movie, it's good, but not great. nonya n I generally truly enjoy Parker & Stones stuff... I'm a person that can generally sit through anything. I even managed to make it through that horrendous Anne Heche remake of Psycho for gods sake, but this movie.... I just couldn't do it.... I even gave it a second chance with alcohol and couldn't do it. Made it maybe 20 minutes in, and just had to stop. I think this is maybe the 2nd or 3rd movie in over 40 years I haven't been able to make it through. Sorry guys... This one fell flat for me. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review David B 15 minutes was as far as I could go, bored to death. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review Penguin S More proof that Trey Parker is a genius. He can write songs like no one's business. Great job with all the parts by those he went to school with. How is it that I've never heard of this until 2023, so many years later? Great musicals, and LOVED the cameo by the alien: a trick they continued throughout their caroon hit, Southpark. I've always loved Trey. Now I can love him even more. Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/01/23 Full Review Stephen C LOL this ****ing much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Parker & Stone’s pre-‘South Park’ “student film” is unapologetically cheap & silly. What it lacks in technical prowess, it more than makes up for with its enthusiastic charm. Loaded with genuine laughs & goofy songs. #nitrosMovieChallenge Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/22 Full Review Audience Member Talk about having a beef with a guy! It just goes to show that Stone and Parker have been serving humanity a raw deal for their whole careers. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
