The wolf chases the pigs down the lane and threatens to blow their house down, but no matter how hard he huffs and puffs, he cannot. The wolf then tries to trick the pigs into coming out of their house by offering to take them to a farmer with some turnips. But the pigs are not stupid and outsmart the wolf, who is now furious.

The wolf threatens to come down the chimney and eat the pigs, but the pigs are ready for him. They have a pot of boiling water waiting, and when the wolf comes down the chimney, they pull off the lid, and the wolf falls in. The pigs then eat the wolf for supper and live happily ever after.
